Running in the Past: Transportation

Running has always been a means of transportation for the Zuni people, especially our farmers and cattle owners. Zuni men and boys would run daily to their fields and sheep camps, sometimes as far away as Ojo Caliente and Nutria, which would be about a 20 mile round trip.
