The Peabody Museum web site has four on-line features that provide the virtual visitor with a broader sense of the museum's object, photographic, and archival collections, and research of the faculty and staff.

Search the Collections provides access to the Peabody Museum's database for objects, paintings, prints, drawings, and photographs.

Exhibitions On-Line act both to supplement exhibitions in the museum and also virtually "exhibit" objects that are not on view in the physical museum. They include scholarly articles, images, and further resources for study.

Finding Aids On-Line provide lists of several archival collections, both photographic and paper, so that a potential visitor to the museum may have a first glance at the holdings.

Peabody Profiles highlights the work of museum staff and faculty of the Anthropology Department.

Special Projects includes sites that bring projects of the museum staff and faculty to the internet, and include experimental applications such as QTVR.

Annual Reports document the Peabody Museum's "rise and progress" from its founding in 1866 through 1888. With original line art and typesetting, Treasurer and Curator reports, and research articles. Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader.
