OPPORTUNITIES

The Department supports professional education through one unpaid student internship each year. These internships are the student's field placement component of an accredited graduate museum studies program. Recent internships have included:

  • Identification and resolution of issues bearing on the taking, importation, and acquisition of museum specimens protected by domestic and international wildlife laws (Harvard University Museum Studies Certificate Program)
  • Increasing intellectual control over and enhancing access to the Museum's paintings, prints, and drawings collection through improved registrarial and curatorial documentation (Harvard University Museum Studies Certificate Program)
