LOCATION This stela, discovered by Morley in 1916, stood facing west in the main plaza of Group A, some 12 m to the northeast of the northeast corner of Structure A-2. CIW workers later lowered it to the ground to permit examination of its setting.

CONDJTION Unbroken, but in some areas badly weathered. The bottom row of hieroglyphs on the back appears to have been left unfinished.

MATERIAL A hard limestone breccia.

SHAPE Irregular. The front surface was clearly uneven before being carved, whereas the back was fairly flat.
