LOCATION Found in 1973 by the French Archaeological Mission. Two fragments were among those assembled across the road from the Cruz family ranch; the third lay near the west platform of the southwest group on the fifth terrace. Now in the site museum.
CONDITION Of the three surviving pieces, one had cracked in two horizontally at mid-thickness, a break now mended. The carved surfaces have suffered little from weathering.
SHAPE Stela base with central hole and sides tapering upwards. The flat upper and lower surfaces are well finished.
