Memoirs of the Peabody Museum
Published since 1896, when George B. Gordon authored Prehistoric Ruins of Copan, the Memoirs series includes studies of ancient Maya sites by Gordon, Edward H. Thompson, Teobert Maler, Alfred M. Tozzer, Samuel K. Lothrop, Doris Z. Stone, and other eminent Mayanists. The ongoing Memoirs series soon will publish important new studies of Copan by Harvard's Charles P. Bowditch Professor of Central American and Mexican Archaeology and Ethnology, William L. Fash, Jr., and colleagues.
