School & Group Classes and Self-Guided Visits (K-12)

Classes

Museum classes are sixty minutes. Plan to arrive thirty minutes before your scheduled class for orientation. 

Self-Guided Visits

Exploration includes a short orientation. Allow two hours to explore. Admission to the Peabody Museum includes admission to the adjoining Harvard Museum of Natural History. 

School Group Fees

School group fees are based on the percentage of K–12 students at the visiting school who receive free or reduced lunch (% FRL). Museum Class rates are based on a group size of 25. Additional students (up to 30) charged separately. Fees for Self-Guided Visits are priced per student. Please see below for information on admission for teacher, chaperones, and additional adults. Call for an exact price quote.

School Group Chaperones

One adult (teacher or chaperone) per 5 students is required for grades K-8 and is admitted free of charge. One-to-one aides are not included in the overall adult allowance and are also admitted free. Add $10 per additional adult.

Youth Group

For non-school groups, Self-Guided Visit fees are $7 per child. One adult per 5 students is required and admitted free of charge. Add $10 per additional adult.

Reservations

Reservations are required for Museum classes and Self-Guided Visits. Be sure to reserve lunch space.

When your visit is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation sheet with fee information; directions and bus parking information.
