Greetings from our field sites!

Enjoy a behind-the-scenes visit to a major museum lab that helps archaeologists identify excavated animal bones. Are the bones from an ancient human occupation site or last year’s picnic? Researchers will demonstrate techniques using skeletons of modern animals. This is a popular event for school-age children.

Family Event. Regular museum admission rates apply. Free parking in the 52 Oxford Street Garage for Amazing Archaeology Fair at Harvard (same day).

Decorate a sugar skull, make papel picado or another work of art and design a message to place upon the Dia de los Muertos altar.
