Multiethnic Communities

The Peabody Museum is committed to promoting dialogue and intellectual exchanges among our multiethnic communities and beyond. In considering unique and meaningful relationships to Museum materials, we particularly encourage the participation of descendant communities and diasporic populations, along with students and faculty, in research, teaching, public programs, and other collaborations.

Our goals are to animate the collections in new and relevant ways and to broadly share these innovations. Toward these goals within the United States, the Museum is committed to implementing the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act of 1990.
